Privacy Policy: ApexPace (International)

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how FellCode ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the ApexPace mobile application ("Service").

1. Information We Collect and Its Purpose

We collect personal data to provide and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal data.

A. Information We Collect

* **User-Provided Information:**

* **Training Data:** Base pace, distances, elevation gain, and segment lengths entered by the user.

* **Energy Calculator Data:** Entered paces and corresponding carbohydrate amounts.

* **GPX Files:** GPX files explicitly opened by the user, which contain GPS location routes. This data is processed ONLY locally on your device. We NEVER upload or store these files on our servers.

* **Automatically Collected Information:**

* **Tip Jar / Purchase Data:** Information about voluntary in-app purchases (tips, such as energy gels or coffee) and purchase history status via Google Play Billing, using an anonymous purchase ID and product tokens.

* **Analytics Data:** We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous information about the use of the Service, such as an anonymous device identifier and general user events.

* **Crash Reports:** We collect an anonymous technical report via Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose problems.

* **Approximate Location:** We collect an approximate location (e.g., country) based on your IP address to display the correct legal terms.

B. Purposes of Data Use

* **To Provide the Service:** We use your training and GPX data to calculate the forecasts you request, and your Tip Jar purchase data to process voluntary contributions.

* **To Improve the Service:** We use anonymous analytics and crash report data to understand how the Service is used and to improve the user experience.

* **To Comply with Legal Obligations:** We use your approximate location to display the correct terms of service to you.

C. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes described above. Analytics data is retained for a maximum of 26 months. Purchase transaction records are retained as required by standard accounting and tax laws via Google Play.

2. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following service provider who is essential for the operation of the Service:

* **Google (Google Play & Firebase):** Processes voluntary tip payments, purchase data, and anonymous analytics and crash data.

Depending on the laws of your country of residence, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

* **Right of Access:** The right to request a copy of the information we have collected about you.

* **Right to Rectification:** The right to request the correction of inaccurate data.

* **Right to Erasure (Right to Deletion):** The right to request the deletion of your data under certain conditions.

* **Right to Object or Restrict Processing:** The right to object to or request the restriction of the processing of your personal data in certain situations.

You may opt-out of analytics data collection via the application's settings menu.

Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 13.
