FellCode ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Backyard Ultra Timer mobile application (the "App") processes your personal data. Unlike many other fitness applications, Backyard Ultra Timer is designed to operate primarily offline. We do not require you to create a user account, nor do we store your race performance data on our servers.

3. The Data We Collect and How We Use It

We adhere to the principle of Data Minimisation. We collect only what is strictly necessary for the App to function and to ensure its stability.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your data. We utilize third-party service providers ("Data Processors") to support the App's infrastructure.

Google Ireland Limited (Google Play & Firebase):

Payment processing, analytics, and crash reporting.

Data may be processed in the United Kingdom, EEA, or transferred to the United States under strict safeguards (UK International Data Transfer Addendum).

You can manage your Google privacy settings directly on your device.

5. Exclusion of Location Data

For the avoidance of doubt, this App does not access, collect, or store your precise GPS location. Distances displayed in the App (e.g., "6.706 km") are mathematical estimates based on the number of completed laps, not satellite tracking.

6. Data Retention

Local Data: Retained on your device until you uninstall the App or use the "Reset All" feature.

Analytics Data: Retained by Google Analytics for 14 months before deletion/anonymization.

Purchase History: Retained by Google Play indefinitely to allow you to restore your purchase if you change devices.

7. Your Rights (UK Users)

Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to:

Access your data (mostly stored locally on your device).

Object to the processing of analytics data (opt-out via device settings).

Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at www.ico.org.uk if you believe your rights have been violated.
