1. Acceptance of Terms By downloading, installing, or using the Backyard Ultra Timer (the "App"), provided by FellCode ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Service Description and "Freemium" Model The App is a specialized timer for Backyard Ultra and Frontyard Ultra endurance events.

You are granted a license to use the App free of charge for the first

3. Payment and Refunds (Crucial Notice) Payments are processed securely via the Google Play Store.

IMPORTANT: WAIVER OF RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, consumers typically have a 14-day right to cancel online purchases. However, this right changes for digital content. By purchasing the Premium Unlock, you expressly request that the digital content be supplied to you immediately. You acknowledge and agree that by receiving immediate access to the full features, you lose your statutory right to cancel the contract and obtain a refund. Therefore, all sales are final. Refunds are only available if the digital content is faulty, as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

4. Limitation of Liability and Assumption of Risk

A. Technical Reliability & Battery Usage The App is designed to keep your device's screen on (WakeLock) to ensure visibility during the race.

You acknowledge that this feature consumes significant battery power. We are not liable for your device running out of power, resulting in missed alarms or disqualification.

Prolonged use at high brightness may damage OLED screens. You are responsible for managing your device's brightness settings.

Software is never error-free. You should always have a secondary, physical backup timer for official race timing.

B. Physical Risk (Backyard Ultra Format) Backyard Ultra races are extreme endurance events that can last for days.

The App is a clock, not a medical device. It does not monitor your health.

Participation in these events carries a risk of serious injury, rhabdomyolysis, exhaustion, and death.

You participate entirely at your own risk.

5. Intellectual Property The "Backyard Ultra Timer" code, graphics, and sound assets are the intellectual property of FellCode / Toni Limnell. You may not reverse engineer or redistribute the App.

6. Updates and Changes We may update the App to fix bugs or add features. We are under no obligation to provide support for older versions of the App or Android operating systems.

7. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be settled in the courts of England and Wales.

1. Nature of the Tool The Backyard Ultra Timer is strictly a chronological timekeeping utility. It uses your device's internal clock to calculate countdowns. It has no sensors to detect your physical condition, hydration levels, or mental state.

2. Extreme Endurance Warning You are using this App to facilitate participation in an activity ("Backyard Ultra") that involves extreme sleep deprivation and physical exhaustion. The App's signal to "Start Next Lap" is a timing prompt, not a safety recommendation.

You must listen to your body, not the App.

Consult a physician before attempting any ultra-endurance challenge.

Stop immediately if you experience dizziness, chest pain, or severe confusion.

3. Developer Liability FellCode / Toni Limnell expressly disclaims any liability for:

Any personal injury, illness, or death resulting from your participation in an event.

Any disqualification or loss of results caused by App malfunction, battery failure, or user error.
