USA Backyard Ultra Timer - GDPR / Privacy Policy EN
Privacy Policy: Bacyarultra Timer (United States)
Last Updated: December 13, 2025
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how FellCode ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you use the Bacyarultra Timer mobile application ("Service") in the United States.
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR WASHINGTON AND NEVADA RESIDENTS: This Policy includes a dedicated section regarding "Consumer Health Data" pursuant to the Washington My Health My Data Act (MHMDA) and Nevada Senate Bill 370. Please review Section 4 carefully.
1. Information We Collect (Notice at Collection)
We collect personal information to provide the timer functionality, manage subscriptions via Google Play, and improve app stability. We categorize this data as follows:
A. Information You Provide Directly
Timer & Race Settings: When you configure the timer, we process data regarding your target loops ("yards"), loop duration (e.g., 60 minutes), and start times.
Local Race History: The app stores logs of your completed loops, split times, and total distance calculated based on the standard Backyard Ultra distance (4.167 miles/loop).
Customer Support: If you contact us via email, we collect your email address and message content to resolve technical issues.
B. Automatically Collected Information
Device & Technical Data: We collect anonymous device identifiers (e.g., model, OS version), IP address (for approximate location), and crash logs via Google Firebase Crashlytics to ensure app stability during long-duration events.
Subscription Data: We collect an anonymous purchase token, subscription status (e.g., "Active", "Expired"), and order history via Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your credit card information; financial transactions are processed exclusively by Google.
Usage Metrics: We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect aggregated data on feature usage (e.g., how often the "whistle" alarm is triggered).
C. Data Processed Locally (Privacy by Design)To maximize your privacy, highly sensitive data regarding your specific race performance (precise timestamps of exhaustion, DNF status) is processed and stored locally on your device. We do not upload this granular activity data to our servers.
2. Purposes for Data Use
We use your information for the specific business purposes listed below:
To Provide the Service: Operating the timer, triggering alarms (using Android Foreground Services), and calculating remaining time.
To Manage Subscriptions: Verifying your eligibility for Premium features and managing auto-renewals via Google Play.
To Improve Functionality: Analyzing anonymous crash reports to fix bugs that could interrupt a race.
Legal Compliance: Using your IP address to determine your state/country to display the appropriate legal terms (e.g., CCPA notices).
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your Personal Information.
We may disclose data to the following "Service Providers" (as defined by CCPA/CPRA) solely for the purpose of operating the app:

4. Consumer Health Data (Washington & Nevada)
Under the Washington My Health My Data Act (MHMDA) and Nevada SB 370, "Consumer Health Data" is defined broadly to include data linked to your physical health status.
A. Nature of Data: By using a timer designed for "Backyard Ultras" (endurance events often exceeding 24 hours), the Service processes data that may infer your physical endurance, fatigue levels, and sleep/rest intervals between loops.
B. Collection & Sharing: We collect this data only to provide the utility of the timer requested by you. We do not share, sell, or disclose your Consumer Health Data to third parties for advertising purposes.
C. Consumer Rights: Residents of Washington and Nevada have the right to:
